Famous TV actor Abeer Singh Godhwani is creating a buzz in the industry these days for his role in the hit daily soap Naagin 6.
Naagin 6 sees Abeer playing the role of Inspector Vijay Shukla, a senior cop, who is funny, entertaining, and at the same time very dedicated to his job.
Confirming being a part of Naagin 6, Abeer says, “Yes, I am shooting for the show now… & I am playing a cop who is crazy but sane at the same time. My character is similar to Ranveer Singh in Simmba.”
Talking about if he has watched previous seasons of Naagin, Abeer says that he watched a few episodes before going for the screen test because he wanted to understand the concept of Naagin and its characters.
Abeer Singh Godhwani has been popular on TV for his roles in shows like Jugni Chali Jalandhar, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, and Jeannie Aur Juju amongst others. But he stayed away from the small screen for quite some time. Abeer says he was waiting for a good role all this while. He says that he was doing a show with Sony TV but it stopped after 1 month because of the lockdown. He was then approached for mythological shows but opted to wait for a good role to come his way. Abeer says he had signed a show with Amazon too but it got postponed.
Meanwhile, Abeer who is a big fan of Ekta Kapoor and her work says he feels grateful for being a part of a big franchise like Naagin.
Well, Naagin 6 is already a rage among the masses for the thrill it provides. But now with Abeer’s strong role as Inpector Vijay, one can expect unlimited twists and drama in the upcoming episodes.
