Announcement to be Aired on Bloomberg and Fox Network

Phoenix, AZ (October 1, 2020) In a historic move for the future of cryptocurrency, NativeCoin Chief Operating Officer Jeff Johnson and Ferrum Network co-founder Ian Friend have announced they are partnering to make NativeCoin cryptocurrency easy to use, buy and sell.

The announcement was made Thursday, Sept. 17 on NASDAQ’s LilaMax Media show hosted by Jane King. The show will later be aired on Bloomberg’s Innovators and Exploring the Block on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. On Monday, Sept. 28 at 10:30 p.m.it will also air on FOX Business’s Innovators and Exploring the Block.

NativeCoin is a sovereign Native American cryptocurrency developed by the Tribal Nation to be used as a cryptocurrency in Tribal gaming enterprises, casinos and businesses throughout Northern America and the world.

Ferrum Network is a seamless and decentralized exchange for all digital assets. It is a block chain protocol that makes it easy to use cryptocurrency while providing consistently high-speed and low-cost transactions for digital assets.

Johnson believes that partnering with Ferrum Network will help make it easy for those using NativeCoin to make transactions, without having to understand the complex technology behind it.

“Everything that NativeCoin is about right now is creating an ‘on-off ramp’ and ease of use cryptocurrency,” he said. “Ease of use means making it as simple as possible for people to understand it, to use it and to transact with it. That is what we are all about.”

For many in the Native American community NativeCoin symbolizes a chance to not only be sovereign in designation but sovereign in currency as well.

Currently, there are 563 tribes in America with 463 casinos earning more than $37 billion in annual revenues.

According to Johnson, the principle idea of NativeCoin is to attract outside investors to sovereign land through gaming and the many different businesses owned by Native Americans.

Partnering with Ferrum Network is seen as another step towards achieving that objective.

Ferrum co-founder Ian Friend said that “Ferrum Network is building tools and technology that simplify cryptocurrency for the end user, noting that his company has lowered the complexity of cryptocurrency transactions to the point anyone can use it, regardless of their technical skills or lack of.”

He said he appreciates the efforts of NativeCoin to improve ease of use and bring the novel token to the general public.

“What I love about NativeCoin is they are bringing blockchain technology into the real world for the benefit of their end users,” he said. “ We simplify what is otherwise complex technology and make it easy for someone living on a reservation who is not technically inclined and never heard of something like blockchain in general.”

He said Ferrum Network has streamlined the complexity of crypto technology to the point where users can make transactions with simple links, allowing them to send the cryptocurrency through messenger apps, social media and even emails.

“NativeCoin users can send or receive cryptocurrency and not have to worry about the complexity and not have to worry about sending it to the wrong address,” he said. “We are excited to bring this out for NativeCoin.”

He said that his company has also built a “staking” component into NativeCoin that allows holders of the token to collect interest on it. For those who have never had access to financial instruments that compound interest it’s an opportunity to see their money work for them, according to Friend.

Friend believes by partnering with NativeCoin the future of cryptocurrency is brighter.

“The key to making this industry a success is accessibility and value,” he said. “If we can make it easy to use and also bring value into our daily lives with things like staking and other ways to make money, we have actually done something positive in our industry.”

Johnson said NativeCoin developers have remained true to their objective to create a cryptocurrency that all Native American tribes can use and benefit from.

“Our mission from the very beginning has always been, first and foremost, making sure people can access it,” he said. “And when they do access, making it as easy as possible to understand.”

NativeCoin will be featured next on NASDAQ’s LilaMax Media show the week of October 12, 2020.
