Vivek believes in learning & educating both, he has already conducted 120+ seminars & workshops across India to spread his art of hairdressing with thousands of hairstylist. In his recent interview with a fashion magazine he mentioned about his hair shows that he did for L’Oreal Professionnel in Dubai & Los Angeles,USA. This makes him the youngest hairstylist of India to have trained more than 30,000 hairdressers till now & counting.
Vivek Shyam Bhatia has been privileged to style hair for many movie celebrities like Krystle D’Souza, Sonal Devraj, Deepika, Aneri Vajani, Shiamak Davar, Vikram Phadnis, Eijaz Khan, Smita Bansal, Rochelle Rao, Harshali Malhotra, Manav Kaul and the list goes on. While the actors have enjoyed sitting on his chair, Cricketers like Rahul dravid, Shane Watson, Ross taylor, too have gotten their hair makeovers with Vivek. But with all these big names, Vivek says he personally enjoyed the most when he styled hair for Mr. India 2016, Rohit Khandelwal.
While he learnt the art of hairdressing internationally from various experts like Vidal Sassoon in London, Sophia Hilton from London, Toni & Guy in Singapore, Laurent Decreton from Paris, Vivek Shyam Bhatia loves to stay back in Mumbai & is the Creative Director of luxury studio- Shyam’s Salon and Academy. Alongside, he is also the founder of the Very V Salon, which is quite popular to be visited by actors & influencers often.
Coming from a family who’ve been doing professional hairdressing from generations, Vivek credits all his success to his father Shyam Bhatia & even his grandfather, who have also been in the industry for the past 36 years & styled hair for numerous celebrities & tycoons like Annu Kapoor, Irrfan Khan, Dhirubhai Ambani & many more.
Talking all about fashion here, L’Oreal – the biggest cosmetic brand in the world, signed Vivek Shyam Bhatia to become their Artistic Brand Ambassador for India Professionnel division. And impressively this makes him the youngest chosen hair artist of the brand till date.
